Kyoan

Kyoan has the maximum manufacturing width of 2,700mm and the maximum manufacturing height of 2,700mm per one sheet, and the middle edging border for prevention of deflection and decoration is provided as a standard specification. Kyoan is a made-to-order product for which you can specify the width and height in units of 10mm. For the specifications, fashioning of bamboo joints and edging border fabric of Sudare texture pattern are selectable, and the standard fittings include only hanging brackets and simple Himofusa (string tassel). These products are suitable for decoration of a large frontage with one sheet, inns, and commercial spaces. If you prefer Ozashiki Sudare specifications, you can add or change into another hanging brackets, hooks, or Fusa (tassel) with additional charge.

[H51 ]Kurumekasuri

Kurumekasuri is a traditional artifact designated by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. This is modern texture with diagonal patterns which are not included in the classic patterns.

[H7 ]Hakuiri Kifunedonsu (blue)

This is a representative pattern in which flowers and birds are combined. This is Donsu (damask) that the patterns are woven out with satin reverse texture on the satin texture.

A pattern in which double vine arabesque is adorned with 2 kinds of flowers including peony and chrysanthemum in turns. This is a Donsu (damask) with gold leaf.

There is a texture with a pattern of a pair of Hoos (Chinese phoenixes) in the imperial properties of the Shosoin Treasure House. This is a pattern in which a pair of Hoos are surrounded by bead patterns.

General name of traditional cotton plain Retsu. It is h soft grass green.

This is a plain texture named after Murata Juko who is a pioneer of simple and quiet tea ceremony called Wabicha. It is calm brown.

This is a plain texture named after a famous garden called Katsura-no-rikyu built by Toyotomi Hideyoshi. It is soft light brown.

Measurement methods

In cases of Nageshi (a horizontal piece of timber) for Japanese-style rooms

For the width, measure the insides of the pillar, and then subtract 10mm from the measured value. For the height, measure from the bottom line of Nageshi to the threshold (floor surface), and then subtract 60mm or more from the measured value.
